Delete Your Account

Athlete Mania · Last updated: August 22, 2026

You can delete your Athlete Mania account and the personal data attached to it at any time. There are two ways to do it — from inside the app, or by emailing us if you can no longer sign in.

Option 1 — Delete it in the app

  1. Sign in to Athlete Mania.
  2. Open your Profile from the navigation.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page, to the account section.
  4. Tap Delete Account, then confirm with Yes, Delete My Account.

Deletion runs immediately and cannot be undone. If you only want to step away for a while, use Deactivate on the same screen instead — that hides your profile from other athletes and keeps your account so you can come back.

Option 2 — Ask us to delete it

If you cannot sign in, email jesse@straughterco.com from the email address on the account, with the subject line Delete my account. We will verify the request and confirm by email once the account has been deleted. A parent or guardian may make this request on behalf of an athlete under 18.

What gets deleted

  • Your account and sign-in credentials.
  • Your athlete profile — name, age, sport, position, experience level, training goals, bio, availability, profile photo, and any saved location.
  • Your verification records — the government ID you uploaded and, for athletes under 18, the parent or guardian consent form.
  • Your community content — the vibes you posted, your replies and reactions, your notifications, and your follows in both directions.
  • Any blocks you placed on other athletes.

What stays, and why

Some content you created is part of other people's experience of the app, so it is not removed automatically when your account is deleted:

  • Messages you sent remain in the conversations of the athletes who received them — each message is also their record of the conversation.
  • Bookings and training history remain on the records of the athletes and sessions involved.
  • Safety records — blocks other athletes placed on your account, and any reports involving it — are kept so we can protect other athletes, particularly minors.

If you want any of this removed as well, say so in your email and we will handle it manually where we are able to.
